The award, known until last year as the COMP Cams Thumpr Award, will again be presented to a unique vehicle at each of 10 NSRA events from March through September. Winners will be hand-selected by judges looking for a standout hot rod utilizing new-age technology, while maintaining a street rod or muscle car theme. The winning vehicle doesn’t require the nicest engine, paint scheme or even FAST parts, but it must utilize EFI and represent ingenuity.
Some of the 2016 winners included a 1972 Nova with supercharged Gen III engine; 1941 Willys Coupe with 5.7 Hemi; and a Boss 520-powered 1933 Ford Roadster.
FAST will present the owner of each Revolution Award-winning vehicle with a custom-made, one-of-a-kind trophy.
