2008 AETC™ GM LSX-themed conference topic generates tremendous interest and provides great lead-in to Ford Modular Performance theme for 2009 conference
Clearly the 19th time was the charm as the 2008 AETC™ broke all previous records by hosting more than double the number of 2007 attendees and 12 diverse speakers covering a broad range of disciplines. In addition to the cutting edge LSX-engine technology discussed during the seminars and two networking receptions, the AETC™ played host to the first showings of several new products, including the RHS® LS Race Engine Block. As an added bonus, over $30,000 in free products was given away to various attendees over the three-day conference held December 8-10 in Orlando, Florida.

The AETC™ has become the perfect pre-Performance Racing Industry Show event to bring together industry leaders, engineers and media members looking to learn and share the latest engine technology. What truly made the 19th annual AETC™ something special was the new engine themed content – “Advanced LSX Performance”.
The hand-selected event speakers found an extremely receptive audience at each seminar, making for highly interactive exchanges throughout the conference. The 2008 AETC™ featured a wide range of speakers whose occupations ranged from a collegiate professor and OEM insiders to championship engine builders; an unprecedented diversity that is expected to be matched again next year.

“We were pleased to see the impressive turnout for the AETC, especially in contrast to the challenging economic times faced by our industry,” stated Brian Reese, AETC™ Manager. “It goes to prove that our industry is filled with dedicated individuals committed to using technology and networking to find solutions to our problems and creating innovative products to pull us through.”
