I bought a comp cam pt#20-602-9 and the manual says new springs required. I am trying to find which springs are the correct ones. Salesman first said that it was fine to run without new springs. Then I point out in manual and now he says that I need the 26995-16 Beehive™ Valve Spring Set; 1.065"/1.415" O.D. (.600" Maximum Lift) are these the correct ones for this cam? I cant find anything on the net saying what to use with this cam.

All of the corresponding parts are (now) listed on our website. We just got finished making upgrades and you should be able to find it on there now. The 995-16, or the 26995-16 will work with that cam. However, you will need to machine the heads a little to make either one fit.

Default Thanks
Ok I got the cam installed. However I havent shimmed all the springs so I got shims on order. I had difference on valve stem height and will have them all set the same next week. It did run but wont idle as well. I noticed the map volts was reading about 1.2 -1.1 volts. Usually I see about 1.6 - 1.8 volts. Called comp cams support he said shim all the springs the same. And get a computer tuned for that camshaft, intake, injectors etc. So hopefully next week I post another thanks.
