Unhappy 2002 year FAST EFI trouble
Hello

I have 1988 Trans AM 355 cid with P1-sc procharger , insalled has 2002 year produced FAST efi system, battery is installed into trunk.

Car ran very well some years but prevoius autum one day engine didnt start, some day it starts. If i spray fuel into intake then car starts and stays one untill i spray fuel in.

I checked injectors cables resistance from efi unit to y cable and they were ok.
I checked two red cables which give 12 v to injectors when ignition is on and also then when I try start the engine.
I checked Y cable resistance with 1,3 and 6,8 cilinders injectors and resistance was 0,00.
Gas itself are present on fuel rails, i cheked.
Spark is there, i cheked
Engine and ecu groud , i cheked, 0,03 ohms

Where i should find the problem.

Is it bossible that ecu itself has broken and sometimes works sometimes not. How i can chek is ecu works correctly or no.

Put a gauge on your fuel rails and measure the actual pressure. If your running low, it might seem like you have fuel but not enough to run or start. My TPI motor requires 45 PSI, when my pump went out it didn't go all at once. When I had 30 PSI I could start the car, but it wouldn't rev up very well. At 25 PSI, I could start the car with starting fluid in the throttle body, but then it would sometimes die. It had no power ect. Once I put in a new fuel pump and filter, the car had 45 PSI again and I could turn the key on and it would start immediately. Check your fuel pressure and pump and filter.
