2009 Hot Rod Power Tour - Day 3 (South Bend, IN)

After 2 days of chilly weather, the CPG crew landed in hot and humid South Bend, IN at the St. Joseph County Fairgrounds for Day 3 of the 2009 Hot Rod Power Tour. With legendary car builder Troy Trepanier and NHRA Top Fuel Driver Cory McClenathan on-hand to meet and greet attendees, South Bend was certainly a memorable stop. Although under a severe thunderstorm warning, the fairgrounds only saw light flashes of rain, as the day was mostly sunny and pleasant.

With dyno testing, wheel spinning for prizes and Hot Rod trivia, the participants, or "Long Haulers" along with local enthusiasts were treated to a variety of entertaining events. And with the various COMP Performance Group™ merchandise and other supporting items seen on both the locals and Long-Hauling participants, it appears that the CPG nation is growing rapidly.
