The 2009 NMCA Muscle Car Nationals tour comes to a close this weekend with the running of the 8th Annual Nitto Tire Word Finals at Memphis Motorsports Park, the last race of the season for the NMCA Edelbrock Drag Racing Series combined with the running of the 3rd Annual GM Performance Parts LSX Shootout.
As usual, this race will offer some of the best racing of the season as many drivers attempt to grab class championships or earn a spot among the top ten racers who will be recognized at the NMCA awards ceremony in Orlando this December in each of the 11 NMCA Eliminators.
The largest LSX event of the year will also be held in Memphis with the running of the 3rd Annual LSX Shootout. Check out the fastest street-legal Camaros, Firebirds, Corvettes, GTO's and other LS-powered muscle cars as they compete in J.E. Pistons Drag Radial, ERL All Motor, LSX True Street and the hugely popular LSX Rumble.
Other features of the LSX Shootout include a dyno challenge as well as a huge LS-powered Auto Show & Shine. There will also be a special all-LSX midway where you can find all of the LSX parts you need for your LS-powered muscle car.
