So far I have had the green tach signal wire hooked to the # 1 coil on plug, the # 4 coil on plug, the tach signal coming from the ecm that I have my shift light hooked to, and the # 1 fuel injector.
The fuel injector is the only one that the rpm's did not show erratic at idle on the window switch. When hooked to coil on plug # 4 the wire was through the firewall below the battery tray and soldered directly onto the coil wire so it was not near other coil wires.
