Default 270S Cam valve lash
I got a call from my father-in-law asking me to check with the users cpgnation concerning a question he has about the valve lash.
He said he has a 270S solid lifter cam and he wants to know what the valve lash is suppose to be set at or how to set the valve lash. Obviously, I know absolutely zero about this subject so I hope he provided enough information for you guys to assist him. If additional information is needed from him let me know and I will find out.
Thanks for the help!

The valve lash should be set to .022" intake and exhaust (hot). He can adjust them cold, but he will need to adjust them to .018" and then re-check them with some temperature int he engine. Here is a link to the proper adjustment procedure; http://www.compcams.com/Instructions...query=12-211-2. You will need to copy and paste that into your browser and it will bring up a PDF file for downoad and that will have the adjustment procedures.
