Default Day 1 of the Mopar Muscle Challenge
Today kicked off the 5h Annual Mopar Muscle Engine Challenge, and the competition alreadys looks tough.

Things started early this morning at the COMP Cams R&D facility with the team of Scott Schurbon of Schurbon Engine Service in Maquoketa, Iowa, and Shaun Havey and Michael Pontnack of Mopar City. This is Schurbon's third consecutive year in the competition and the first participation for Mopar City. Being a regular COMP Cams customer, Schurbon teamed up with Chris Padgitt of COMP Cams to select just the right cam, lifters and valve springs for his build.

After team Schurbon/Mopar City's dyno pulls, lunch was served and the Promax Performance team of Indianapolis, IN, was on deck with members Ben Gorman and Scott Spies. They're no strangers to the competition because this is their fourth consecutive year to make the cut but they haven't had a win yet. Could this be the lucky year? Stay tuned to find out!
