350th trans, year?

i have a 91 vette with an unknown year 350th trans, how can i tell what year it is and if it is a lockup trans or not. i think the trans is between a 80and 90, any help please

Is the transmission that's currently in the Vette orginal? To my knowledge the C4's came with a OD 700R4, and it would not be a TH 350. They may look similar, but the 700 in a Vette should measure about 29 7/8". Lets track down what it is then we will go from there. There is a casting # on the pan rail. That number can help us.
