If you are using the white wire from the factory computer for the rpm signal than you need to enter in the engine as a 4 cylinder. Please unhook the map and do not use it. The reverse logic it for if you wanted something to be on all the time and you have to activate it off instead of you having to activate it on. Feel free to call or email!
