Default 429 roller rocker help
hi guys, im new here and if im in the wrong area im sorry, but am wanting some help, i rebuilt 6mo ago and maybe 200 miles my 1969 ford 429, stock except comp cams mutha thumpr and springs and edelbrock intake. my question is i would like to put roller rockers on without doing any machine work for the guide plates is that possible? it currently has the stock(c9ve heads) 3/8 studs in the heads with 5/16 rocker threads.

No sir you will not be able to run a Roller Rocker Arm on that head without machining them for guide plates.
