Into the collector of the header? That is the correct place to put it to help keep down on possible air leaks. Most of the O2 errors that have been documented have actually been a noise issue. Make sure the wire is ran away from the spark plug wires and that the battery positive and ground are connected directly to the battery with nothing is spliced into them.
