I haven't seen very many bad sensors, but it is always a chance, but a small one unless it gets dropped. You might try to disconnect and reconnect the sensor to make sure it has a good connection. Are you running a MSD type ignition box that the ECU could be close to? Something you could try...take the switched (pink) wire and connect it directly to the battery positive and start it up. See if you get an O2 error now. If not, you could be getting some noise on that wire.
