5.0 Windsor vs. Mustang HO cams

I bought a K35-310-8 roller kit for a 1987 5.0 Crown Vic motor and now need to know if this cam will work in a 5.0 Mustang roller motor?? I know the firing order is different. Both motors are no longer EFI but carburated so the all computer stuff is not relevant anymore. The Crown Vic motor is shot but I have access to a HO Mustang motor.

That camshaft will work in a 5.0L HO motor just fine and is what it was meant for. The firing order on this camshaft is the standard 5.0HO/351w firing order. 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8
