Default 5.7L Hemi cam
Alright im new to this CAM thing. I've done alot of upgrades to my truck such as 4.88 gears, cai, true dual exhaust w/ flowmaster 40 series, and Bully Dog programmer. Im wanting to put a CAM in my truck to get some mre power and a little more deeper/agressive sound. I have a 2005 ram 1500 Hemi 5.7L. Do I have to do anything else to my truck if I change out the CAMs? I was thinking about getting a 6.1L cam or a 206 - 216 comp cam, whats a better cam to get?

Sorry for late response to your question. I missed your post before. The 112-500-11 cam would be a good simple upgrade cam for your application. It is going to offer superior power to the 6.1 cam grind and still be very computer friendly. If you have more questions just let us know.

Yes you will have to change valve springs with the new cam. We recommend using the part number 26918-16 with 761-16 retainers. The Bullydog should be suffeciant to tune the computer.
