I guess I will stick my neck out.

What kind of problems are you having?

Can you give some information on your engine combination?

Thanks,

Brand new 350 chevy (300 horse crate)turbo 350 trans. edelbrock airgap manifold with wooden spacer. brand new hei with msd coil and msd 6al box. The other day i took all the wires off to rerout to see if that changed anything but it didnt. All wires that are supposed to be hooked directly to the battery are. Fuel psi is set to 43 with hose unhooked. Stays right around 190 at night time (10pm 95 degrees outside) voltage is a constant 13.5 and iac is at 15-20 once warmed up and at idle in park. i used the complete kit and ran a 3/8 return line to both tanks(79 chevy c 10)

When i give it any kind of gas the afr goes to 15.9 and bogs out till i let off. when i let off it goes to like 8.0 afr and goes back to 13.0 once im starting to cruise. i even played with the acc fuel to see if it would make a difference and it didnt.

When i am coasting down a hill or over 50 mph and am totally off the gas it goes to 15.9 and i can hear it start to pop but when i feather the throttle the afr goes down just enough for the popping to stop.

Comming into my neighborhood is pretty similar under 15 mph coasting into a turn then feathing the throttle i get the same deal 15.9 afr and bogs for a second.

need anymore info let me know.

Question. What is a safe distance to run the efi wires away from the distributor and all the spark wires?

It might be a fuel supply problem.

When you accelerate and the A/F goes to 15.9, is there also a lot of positive O2 correction?

Is there any way you can set up a fuel pressure gauge so you can watch it while driving?

Any error codes?

When it comes to wires, you mainly want to make sure that they don't run side by side touching each other. The bigger the wire, the more air space we need typically. So spark plug wires, alternator wire, and main positive and negative wires for the ignition box, need as much space as possible. If you are using an ignition box the orange and black wires that hook to the coil need to stay away from the EZ harness, too.

wasnt able to move the pressure gauge yet but while accelerating slowly the o2 reading on the first screen stays pretty even sometimes it even drops under 5%. Sometimes it even goes to 0% for a few seconds then i let off and it moves again. when letting off the gas all the way from about 50 mph it jumps up 25-30% o2.

I havent had a code in a long time.

What fuel filter do you recomend before the pump?

I should be good on the wiring then everthing is seperated pretty good.

You want as little restriction on the inlet side of the pump as possible. Just a "sock" on the end of the pickup tube or a screen to block the bigger chunks will be fine.

There is also a screen on the inlet of the pump itself where the barb fitting screws in. You might undo that and see if there is anything blocking the screen.

Does the pump make any crazy noises?

Does the engine free rev fine? If you are just sitting in the driveway and mash the throttle, does the engine miss or pop?

most of the time it free revs fine. sometimes there is hesetations.

The pump sounds like it always has. i have heard it when the tank gets low and makes a real high pitch nose if it sucks air.

Hmm. check fuel pressure when driving. Very easy to damage high pressure fuel pumps by running low on fuel.

I am with you Webby. I think there may be a fuel delivery problem.

Also maybe check base fuel pressure with a different gauge than the one on the regulator. The gauge could possibly not be reading right.
