Default AOD TCI for 65 Mustang
Hi everybody,
My name is Meir, and I’m from Israel.
I drive a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. I install 302 ford racing engine (produce 345HP), and it attach to AOD Automatic TCI Street fighter (part number 431000).
I have 2 questions/problems:
1.The AOD and the engine is brand new (including the B&M Torque Converter, 2400 stall).
The carburetor is 600CFM Edelbrock, and I bought new locker cable. The Ignition system is MSD.
My problems:
•In normal drive the gears shift hard and very aggressive. When I press hard on the pedal it shifts smooth and quick. But since I don’t want press hard all the time, I wonder how can I make the gears to go more gentle and not hard.
I also used the PDF file for:
Ford AOD throttles valve adjustment.
•My second question is regarding the over Drive. I feel that the overdrive is working? The 3 gears shift but no overdrive?
The RPM is 3000, when as far as I know should be 2000RPM on 60 miles.
Any recommendation/suggestion?

Looking forward for your comments

Regards,
Meir
