Default BBC 505 cam recommendation
I have the comp cams 11-613-5 cam in my BBC 505cui engine right now
The question that I have is I am switching to the EZ-EFI and am a little
concerned about the vacuum that I have right now The engine idles with 7"-8" of vacuum at 850 rpm would that be enough vacuum for the EZ-EFI ? If not what cam do you recommend
The engine is 505 cui 10-1 compression, oval port heads fully ported with 2.3" intake valves 1.88" exhaust valves turbo 400 transmission with a 2500 stall convertor 3.70 rear gears with 33"x22"x15" tires I would like to stick to a mechanical flat tappet cam if I need to change the cam. The engine with the cam above did make 623hp Thanks Craig
