Default Cam for a 496
I am building a 496 (stroked 454) It will be 10.25 to compression. Edelbrock aluminum oval port heads. It is going in a 55 chevy with a TKO600 5 speed with 3.73 gears . I am also using EZ EFI. I would like something with a little rumble... Oh by the way mechanical roller. I already have lifters. Can I send lifters back to comp to rebuild or chevk. They have about 4000 street miles on them. Just want to be sure. Thanks Tim

I would recommend the 11-771-8 for this one. That should give you a nice rumble and plenty of power from 25-6500 or so. With 4000 street miles, I would send them in while you have them out of the engine, just to be on the safe side.
