Default Cam chrashed
One of the loebes on my cam is worn out after 2000 km it is a Comp Cam 11-773-8 solid roller cam.
Is this cam cast or in billet steel?
Is it possible to get the same cam in billet steel?

I would have post a picture but is not allowed as a newbe here.

Regards

This camshaft is a Austempered Ductile Iron core, so it is cast but not like a flat tappet cam core. It is the same material used by OE's for factory roller motors. You can have the camshaft custom ground on a billet core if you prefer and that will typically take 3-5 buisness days. How much spring pressure did you have on the camshaft before?

That part number is not listed on their website and I have no clue what the open pressure is on a part that is not mine. See if you can get this information from them if you are not sure.
