Default Can there be 'Green Muscle'?
Muscle Car Blog recently posted a rumor that an EcoBoost V8 may find it's way into a GT500 in the next few years.

Whether it does or doesn't, i was curious if any of you thought that the concept (regardless of manufacturer, Ford and Chevy both have direct-injection technology) of 'Green Muscle' would work?

I wouldn't hold my breath for a V8. The V6 produces a hundred horses more than my V7 Ford F-150. I can't wait till the wife picks up one in her next SUV. Now a V8 could be possible in a muscle car like a Mustang since it will be top dog. Now that would be something to see.

I agree 100% , My 2005 Mustang GT 4.6 3 valve with Vortech H.O. ,Comp stage 4 cams with beehive springs is at 518 RWHP and gets around 25 mpg. Not the fastest car out there, but I'm satisfied.
