Default car dies and then is hard to start at times with XFI
i have a complete aeromotive a1000 fuel system running at 43 psi base pressure with their vac/boost regulator. i run a 355 chevy with a procharger d1sc and 11 psi boost (2bar MAP sensor) with a 262/274@.050 roller cam 645/660 lift. the car runs fine when it starts up its fine, its like as soon as the car is fully warmed up it will run rough like no spark and then it will die (fuel pressure is there so the fuel pump is not leaning out or anything). i have a heck of a time to get it restarted and will need to leave it sit for about 10 minutes to restart it or it will crank endlessly, then when it is running it will run again perfect. its been doing that the last 2 times i took it out and its annoying as anything and confusing. i am running a fast xfi system with the dual sync distributor and a MSD digital 6 box hvc2 coil and MSD wires.

help! thanks guys

Hello,
Can you moniter the air / fuel ratio when the engine starts to stall, then while your cranking the engine to restart it? Also, if possible, it would be easier to see what is going on if you sent me your XFI tune file and a data log of when the engine starts to die and then when you are trying to refire it..

thanks,
