Classic FAST with carb

I need to run a carb for one weekend and do not want to remove any more FAST stuff than needed, so would it hurt the box to just unplug the injector harness?? also would the injectors be ok still installed but with no fuel thru them?? thanks wf

There is no problem with that, when we run my engine on the engine dyno for break in we unplug the injector harness and just throw a carb on there and leave everything in place.

Are you still going to control the timing with the Fast?

Timing,I'm not sure.
This is a sbf with 5.0liter style MSD dist and Digital 6.
Could I just unplug dist and run 12 v to dist?
I'm not concerned about not having a timing curve.

TFI distributor? And why are you putting on a carb?

I can't run fuel injection at the march meet in Famoso, so I'm just changing for one weekend.

If it is a TFI then the distributor is also computer controlled
