Default Closed Loop Gain and Correction Limit Tables
I feel that I'm getting the VE table fairly well set on my XFI equipped Butler Performance/Pontiac engine. For the areas of the VE table that I can reasonably set on the highway and street the O2 Correction is in the plus/minus 5% range. While playing around, I set the Closed Loop Correction Limit tables to 25 (Positive) and -25 (Negative) for all entries. I also set the entire Closed Loop Correction % table to 25. I am operating in Speed Density mode. Should I consider bringing these tables back down toward zero or are these values OK. Any advise on tuning the individual entries in these tables?

Thanks for all the help I've gotten so far. I am impressed on how well my engine is running.

Cliff you don't want to end up with a correction limit of 0 in the closed loop table but something lower like maybe 10% in the WOT areas for the limit.

Brian, Thanks for your reply. After posting I went back a reread the help pages and the EFI XFI class notes. For now I think I will leave the positive correction limits at the current number. The negative correction limits I will drop down to 10% as you suggest to prevent a overly lean condition. The gain table I think I will leave pretty much where it is except in the idle area where I will drop it down to something closer to what is shown in the help pages. Thanks again for the help.
