COMP Cams® Issues Ultimate Challenge To Power Tour Participants

2010 Hot Rod Power Tour participants will get a chance to show off their engine building skills in the COMP Cams® Engine Builder Duel.

Due to popular demand, COMP Cams® will be bringing the Engine Builder Duel back for the 2010 Power Tour. The contest, presented by Snap-On Tools, pits two teams against each other to see who can completely assemble and run a Small Block Chevy engine in the shortest amount of time. Armed with nothing but their own knowledge, contestants are pre-chosen, un-sponsored gearheads who will be given the appropriate parts and tools to complete the build but may not ask questions of anyone in the crowd or a COMP® employee. First place winners will each be rewarded with a $250 COMP Cams® gift certificate while runner-up team members will receive a $125 gift certificate each.

The Engine Builder Duel will take place in three different cities during the Hot Rod Power Tour at 3:30 p.m. at the COMP Performance Group™ booth located next to the main stage:

• Bowling Green, Kentucky – Tuesday, June 8
• Chattanooga, Tennessee – Wednesday, June 9
• Birmingham, Alabama – Thursday, June 10
