COMP Cams® Steps Up To Support 2012 Hot Rod Power Tour

Memphis, TN – Once again in 2012, COMP Cams® will serve as the Main Stage sponsor during the 7-day high horsepower road trip that is the Hot Rod Power Tour.

For seven days each June, more than 3500 participants and 70,000 spectators take part in the Hot Rod Power Tour as muscle cars and street rods thunder across the United States.

COMP Cams® will be there every step of the away in 2012, having renewed its commitment to serve as the event’s Main Stage sponsor. The 2012 edition of Power Tour kicks off in Michigan, the state where the 2011 trip ended. Power Tour 2012 will begin in Detroit, MI, on Saturday June 2nd, before moving to Muskegon, MI, the next day on Sunday, June 3rd. On Monday, June 4th the tour rolls into Champaign, IL, and continues on to Madison, IL, on Tuesday, June 5th. Wednesday June 6th finds Power Tour in Miami, OK, while it moves to Stillwater, OK, for Thursday, June 7th. The festivities wrap up in Arlington, TX, on Friday, June 8th, with the Long Haul awards being presented in Arlington on Saturday, June 9th. The COMP Performance Group™ trailer will be located adjacent to the Main Stage at every stop, where representatives will be on hand to answer questions and showcase products from all of the CPG companies using interactive product displays. The newest parts and tools from COMP Cams®, TCI®, FAST™, ZEX™, Quarter Master®, RHS®, Inglese™ and Powerhouse® Products will all be featured. Also returning to the trailer display will be the ever popular kids’ coloring contest and big wheel races. Of course there are plenty of special promotions from COMP® on tap too, participants should be sure to stop by the CPG trailer to learn all of the details.
