Now classic Flathead Ford engine owners can be loud and get noticed with the distinct, hard hitting exhaust sound of a Thumpr™ Camshaft. The all-new Flathead Ford Thumpr™ Cams utilize newly designed lobe profiles & cores that are not simply “warmed over” designs that were created for some other engine. These cams were engineered expressly around the valve motion desired for the Flathead Fords and they take full advantage of the large Flathead direct acting solid lifters – yielding great performance & exhaust sound improvements for street rodders.

Thumpr™ Cams deliver a broad power band and excellent character. Asymmetric intake and exhaust profiles, along with tuned centerlines, deliver both optimum sound and engine performance. At the same time, larger exhaust duration helps perfect the exhaust note while maintaining power at higher rpm. With added lift and increased area over standard profiles to maximize performance, they offer good drivability in near stock to moderately modified applications with the gear drive (CCW cam rotation).
