Default Connection trouble
I am having trouble connecting from my laptop to the TCU. I have the silver box and a 4l60e trans.I got connected one time. I did notice that the main connecter that plugs into the transmission was soaked in trans fluid. I had a line leak that caused that, but could that cause my problem? Any other ideas.
Thanks

That could cause the issue but more than likely it is a power/ground, Usb to serial adapter, or the grey TCU to computer cable. Also make sure you have the newer software which is 1.019. Please if you can give me a call these issues are easier and much quicker to solve over phone.

Thanks

Russ

I attached instructions to check the com port settings. What version of the software are you running? Also what windows are you running? Can you please give me a call if you have any other questions.
