Honestly, most drivers are surprised when they realize we run a Powerglide transmission in our late model, but it's a perfect fit for my driving style. I like how it is real throttle responsive and how it pulls off the corners and on restarts. There is no slippage on take-offs like you would get with a standard clutch set-up transmission.

I prefer to drive the car into the corners real deep and use the Circlematic to slow the car instead of using brakes which helps keep the momentum thru the corners and it doesnt upset the car. I prefer having the clutch pedal type transmission so if a spin-out occurs I can simply push in the clutch pedal and still keep car running without stalling out the motor.

My TCI Circlematic Powerglide has taken me to many feature victories, heat race wins and a championship. We are a top contender each week when we hit the track and a large part of that winning combination is TCI.
