Default Dead RPM module?
Is there a way to test the RPM module?

Installed the Ez-EFi in my '65 Mustang and everything seemed to work perfekt. The car sat running in the driveway for maybe a total of ½ hour. Then I went for a ride and still no problems, the ECU running in learning mode. After maybe 10 miles then the engine suddenly stops and refuse to start again. In effort trying to start it again the battery went low and I had to tow the car home.

I have recharged the battery and resat the ECU but the engine still refuses to start. If you pump on the pedal the engines starts and run shortly so fuel delivery seems to be okey. But the hand held shows no RPM. I have controlled the wiring twice and there is connection from the coil to the module and from the module to the ECU. I even tried running new wires for the rpm signal. My tach shows the rpms when the engine shortly starts. I'm running a Unilite distributor and no boxes. The ECU shows no errors.

Failing RPM module or ECU or ???

Can I put the RPM module between the coil and my Autometer tach and see if the tach still shows rpm, without ruin the module?
