TCI� expands popular line of electronic transmission components with new EZ-Transmission Control Unit� for popular GM electronic transmissions

For computer controlled transmissions, nothing beats the new TCI� EZ-TCU� by FAST�. No software, laptop or tuning experience is required. Simply install this new transmission control unit according to the enclosed instructions, and then start the system by answering the simple Setup Wizard questions on the included hand-held unit. Two new SFI-approved machined flexplates offer bullet-proof strength and reliability for high performance GM LSA and LS9 engine applications

For the GM enthusiast who immediately starts cranking more torque and horsepower into his or her recently developed GM LSA or LS9 engine, engineers at TCI� have developed two new high performance machined flexplates. The factory flexplate behind an LSA or LS9 engine can often be problematic, even in stock applications, with issues of cracking and even breaking; so replacing it with a CNC-machined flexplate from TCI� is a good idea.

Engineered to prevent cracking and ring gear breakage commonly found in lesser quality flexplates, this new design includes an integrated early style GM torque converter pattern that gives the option of using an LS-series or earlier model transmission with the GM LS9 or LSA engine. In addition, the precision-ground .190" (3/16") thick, A36 steel plate material is .067" thicker than the original factory piece, which makes it much stronger and much more reliable. And finally, the most important feature is that these performance flexplates have been tested and are SFI 29.1-approved for strength and durability.

Dynamically balanced with converter bolt holes sized to the factory �" diameter, each flexplate is electro-coated for protection from damaging vibrations and elements. Newly designed transmission fluid pan from TCI� weighs less, cools more efficiently and holds more fluid than traditional sand cast pans

The engineers at TCI� have created a transmission fluid pan unlike any other. The TCI� Die Cast Deep Aluminum Pan for Powerglide Transmissions offers revolutionary features that every high performance automotive enthusiast will appreciate.

This deep pan is the first of its kind. Inside, the pan incorporates patent-pending, heat dissipating �inverted-dimples� that increase the surface area inside the pan. These unique �heat suckers� pull heat toward the exterior of the pan � ultimately lowering the temperature of the fluid. On the outside of the pan, exterior fins are slightly angled to create a funnel effect which increases the air speed across the surface. Finally, the pans� exterior is black powder coated to absorb heat from the interior to further lower operating temperatures.

The die cast design is 1 � pounds lighter than the industry standard sand cast versions and does not suffer from the porosity issues that plague those pans. No volume is lost with the lighter design � in fact, the TCI� Die Cast Deep Aluminum Pan for Powerglides holds two extra quarts of fluid over standard designs.

Unlike other pans, there are no more leaking gasket issues with the TCI� pan. A new o-ring design replaces the conventional gasket to ensure 100% sealing to stop chances of leaks and removes the need to replace gaskets when changing filters. When it comes to high horsepower and limited tire size in drag race applications where the more durable GM TH400 transmission is needed, tire spin has always been an issue.
