Default Ez-Efi ?
Well I finally got my EZ-EFI delivered today after waiting 6 weeks
The ? that i have is I would like to mount the ECU in my center console and lengthen all of the electrical wires to reach the injectors sensors and what ever else that needs to be hooked up. Is this ok to do and would this void any warranty?

There is no technical reason why the wires can't be longer. Just do a careful job of it. And use automotive grade wire of comparable size.

If you feel comfortable working with the main connector (its not difficult), you might consider getting new terminals for it. That way you can remove the wires/terminals for the wires you need to lengthen. Cut the original terminal off. Splice on more wire. Then install the new terminal at the end of the new wire and insert it back into it's place in the main connector. That way, you only have to make one splice per wire. As opposed to splicing in a new length of wire in-line with the existing wire - two splices per wire.

FAST sells a pretty nice set of wire strippers and crimpers if you need them.

I don't know about the warranty question. You might consider getting everything running with the unmolested harness. Once you're happy with everything, then you could attack the harness.

SoCal,do you have any info for the FAST wire strippers as I could always use another tool in my arsenal. Thanks.

Socal,
Thanks for the info
I like your idea of getting it running first before I change anything.

Having a nice wire stripper really makes wiring work more pleasant. Other styles exist, too. Anything is better than those standard cutter / stripper / crimper combos everybody has.

This crimper works on just about any automotive terminal I've ever run across. There are tools made more specifically for one type of terminal or another. This one is a good jack of all trades. And it will show a butt splice who's boss, too.

With these two, a pair of side cutters and a heat gun, you can go to town on a wiring project. Oh yeah, and a pick (green one) makes life way easier if you have to disassemble certain types of connectors. (The EZ-EFI's main connector doesn't require any special tools to get wires out.)
