Default EZ EFI first time start up
Ok after 2 days of recovering the wires and hiding them the best I could I finally turned the key tonight.

The results
The motor cranked over a couple times and boom fired right up and idled I went through the warm up and calibration within 15 20 minutes... when that was done I turned on the a/c it worked fan came on during warm up I couldn't believe it and then.... car starts running real ruff I look at the fuel pressure gauge it says 20 psi then drops and the car died........Had a o2 error code WAIT I forgot to put gas back in it since I drained the tank to add the return line. Added a couple gallons primed the pump and it fired right up pressure up around 40psi all is good I can't wait to button up a few things and take it for a spin... I must say so far the EZ EFI has been easy but I do have a couple questions..

1. is it normal when you turn the key on and the pump primes I get a loud clicking about three or four times it sounds like its the regulator making the noise. (it didn't do this until I adjusted the regulator)
2. while the car is idling is it normal when you touch the gas pedal for the injectors(I think) to make a kinda buzzing for a second or 2?
3. where do I hook up the regulator vacuum line? I have it hooked at the passenger side of the throttle body on the side its the very bottom of the body?
4.I mounted my msd control box under the dash it makes a clicking type of buzzing sound is that normal?
Thanks....

Ok searchoed out the noise and found its not my trans its the regulator.... What would cause the regulator to make noise? the noise is in beat with the fuel pumping through the lines.

David, that is a real nice install. Very clean. Did you run your wiring through the Air Gap part of the manifold? As to your question, you may just be hearing the regulator. The MSD shouldn't make any noise and all the other stuff you mentioned is normal. Does your fuel pressure stay normal?

Yes all the wiring is in the gap of the air gap....

The noise is definitely from the regulator the fuel pressure is around 38 psi while idling and drops some when I crack the throttle.... pressure with the vacuum line disconnected is set at 43psi...
