Default EZ-EFI o2 sensor code? Won't go away!
New installation on a 69 camaro. Read about the interference issues tripping this code. I figured I wired something that was picking up noise so I routed separate power wire, ground wire, and switched 12v out of the door and around the side straight to the battery. I also routed the branch of wires for the o2 sensor out the door and running away from the main loom right where it branches off in the supplied harness and straight to the sensor with no wires near it. I even disconnected the radio inside the car. I have the computer mounted inside the car by the way. Anyhow I can't get the code to go away so I can start doing the AL part and get the car back to the customer. I have called fast tech support. Told the guy the issue, got forwarded to a voicemail box, left a message and haven't heard back. Called back three times sense then and sat on hold for 10 minutes each time before giving up. This is extremely frustrating pissing off a bunch shop time losing more and more money on the job. Can someone please help me?

Im with you for the money i spent on my fast some tech support would be greatly appreciated.

Could be the same thing happening. I will try to cycle the key after it's warm.

I guess I should point out that I did confirm that the o2 sensor is heating up and seems to be putting out a signal and the engine seems to free rev pretty well for having a problem... When I pull up the errors page on the display where it shows the o2 error and it says "clear" on their but how do you clear it?

to clear the code you just push the down arrow. And even when i drive mine with the o2 code set it runs ok. If you pull up the data and watch the o2 pid mine just stays at zero until i cycle the key and clear the code. Im pretty sure that mine is a control module problem but i cant get through to tech support to get any diagnostic tests. Its my fault though i had matt maxwell on the phone and i guess i shoulda asked more questions instead of just talking to him about the common problems. Is there a pinout test or a pinpoint test we can follow so we can fix our fast systems?

I took the o2 sensor out to make sure it was heating again and put it back on and then the code was gone. Started and it ran for awhile and the then shut it down. No code. Went to start it again and "comm error" came up. Then all the injectors went wide open and flooded the cylinders with fuel! What is going on? This is crazy!!!!

I just read that other thread. I also had the monitor/display unplugged to see if there was a difference with it unplugged because it would no longer start anymore since the comm error came up. Must be the same thing where there is a internal ground issue. I went back over the whole wiring harness checking continuity between the sensors and the ecu plug and everything checked out ok. I did notice that one of the pins on the ecu is sunken down further than the others. maybe it's not making a proper connection. I guess I need to keep trying to get ahold of someone in the tech dept for assistance.

Hello,
Just for information, I talked to standfast this morning about 10am.

He is going to send some parts in for us to check out.

I guess he didn't have any problems getting into the tech line on a very busy Monday morning.

This is a somewhat old post but I am having the same problems with a small variation. My car started throwing O2 sensor codes after a short drive on a new installation. I checked all of the connections as well as routing of the harness and everything seems to check out. I can't clear the code on the hand held device (pushing the "clear" down arrow does nothing). When I stop and restart the car the code goes away and I get a AL reading for the O2 sensor. After a short drive it throws the code again. I spoke with Maxwell and Scott and they sent me a new O2 sensor. Same problem. Getting really frustrated at a system that was supposed to be relatively easy to use. What is the cure??????
