Default FI to XFI conversion
Here are a few photos of my 1964 Corvette. The engine is a Bowtie aluminum 406 cu in equipped with COMP Xtreme Energy roller hydraulic cam. Other modifications include a 6-speed transmission and rack-and-pinion steering. In 2006 I converted the original Rochester fuel injection (yes! it worked on the 406) to XFI. The ECU is mounted on the driver's side on the air cleaner which is tucked under the fender. The result is a much more tractable package, important to me because it is driven 5000 miles per year. This car often is mistaken for stock at shows. Thanks for making good stuff! Some of these photos will also be in the September issue of Vette Magazine.
