Default help with cam card please
This is the info I have on the cam: 35-000-9 WRT288-2/298-5 R112 # J 3165 0365846831
can you please decode this for me. It's supposed to be for a 302-351w. At this point, I'm not sure what it's for. Thanks in advance.

The serial number is too old to pull up a spec card, but the lobe numbrs are still valid. The intake side is 288 advertised, 258 @ .050 with .426 lobe lift. The exhaust is 298 advertised, 262 @ .050 with .421 lobe lift. The lobe seperation is 112, but I can't tell if there is any advance ground in the cam. That is normally engraved after the lobe sep, but on a cam this old the only way to tell would be to degree both centerlines. It is for a 302-351W, the 35- part number tells me that.

It is a solid roller, and a pretty aggresive one at that.
