For the second time in his racing career Jamey Caudill has finished second in the UARA Championship points. To finish that high in the UARA points twice is quite a feat.
Matt McCall is the man who was first to Caudill both times. These two drivers have had an awesome racing career side by side with a fierce competition flowing between them.
Caudill has won more races than any other driver in the history of the UARA. He has set the record with a very impressive 13 wins to his credit. Not only does he hold the record for wins, he also has the record for the most Sunoco poles in the UARA history. Caudill has claimed that honor with an outstanding seventeen poles to add to his already impressive resume.
Caudill concluded his 2009 UARA racing season with two wins, two Sunoco Poles, three KLB Race Cars & Parts outside poles, one Sonic Most Lap Lead award, four second place finishes, and three G-Force South Shift of the Race awards.
Caudill is a quiet man in the pits but his thunder roars when he hits the track. Caudill is always one of the men to beat at any event he enters. He will give his competition some serious challenges. Caudill will be right near the front during most of a race and then when it comes to crunch time he starts his challenge. He will pick competitors off one by one and the next thing they know he has left them in his dust.
The UARA will honor Caudill and his fellow top ten drivers at the 2009 UARA Championship Banquet Saturday, January 16, 2010 at the Crowne Plaza in Hickory, NC.
