Default Are jets universal?
One question that i have been trying to figure out for a while now is- are nitrous/fuel jets universal between manufacturers? i have heard that Nitrous Express ones are totally different than other companies. I want to know if i could use NOS jets in my Zex system, since Zex's jets are flywheel rated and they don't have a .044 jet that would make an actual 75whp. Otherwise i will have to settle for the zex .043

Also will a higher bottle pressure make your engine run leaner? richer? or the same.

No sir the jets are not universal and NOS jets will not work with our system. Our jets will interchange with Nitrous Express though.

Hi Aaron, we found out the hard way using NOS jets with a Zex plate, no damage we just went backwards. Im having a difficult time finding a 250 shot zex jets here in australia and secondly what size are these so we can drill them.

Thanks
Alan

For a 250hp shot on a ZEX Perimeter Plate system you will need a 88 nitrous jet and a 72 fuel jet.

A friend gave me a DRY fogger Zex kit he didn't use anymore. I already have Nitrous Express
jets from a WET Nitrous Express kit I already have. So what your saying is I can use my Nitrous Express wet jets in the Zex DRY kit I have now?? Because my friend didn't have any jets for the Dry Zex kit when he gave it to me. Thanks!

Yes sir they shoud fit just fine. The jets will enter change between a Dry and Wet kit. It is just dependant on the shape of the jet. Nitrous Express uses the same jet type we do so they will work well for you. If you need any extra jets you always order them direct through us as well.

Im getting conflicting info on jets for a 250 shot. You are saying 88 and 72, i have a sheet from Zex saying 76n and 74 fuel. All im after is correct jetting for a 250 shot on ur perimiter plate using a N.O.S brand kit.

The jetting I gave you is for our perimter plate kit. Meaning our system with our plate. I thought you were asking that since iwanagofaster had listed jetting for the NOS kit already in the other thread. The jetting for a perimeter plate on a NOS big shot system is as listed below.

If using a ZEX™ Perimeter Plate with the #02101 Big Shot System, start with this recommended jetting:
175hp 225hp 250hp 275hp 325hp 350+hp
Nitrous Jet (900psi) 73 82 88 93 102 120
Fuel Jet (5.5-6psi) 82 91 97 102 110 116
Ignition Retard (deg.) 4-6 6-8 8-10 10-12 12+

Also here is a link to the instruction sheet from ZEX that states this.
