John Viglione Wins Big With TCI - 6 Years In A Row

My dad has raced on the local circuits since the 1940s, and I am no stranger to racing myself. It wasn’t until 2001 that we returned to racing. I chose the NASCAR Whelen E-Modified division to race in, on our home tracks – Motordome Raceway in Smithton, PA and Jennerstown Raceway in Ligionier.

As a new driving team we did quite well for the first couple of years with many feature wins. We were always looking to improve our cars’ performance; I continually sought expert advice on every aspect of the operation of our car. It was a phone call for technical advice that led me to speak with Scott at TCI Automotive from Ashland, MS. A phone call that I will forever be grateful I made. It was the beginning of a long and successful relationship between Scott, TCI Automotive, and our race team.



Scott was so helpful, knowledgeable and willing to assist with all my questions and concerns! He has a great knowledge base, and was familiar with all the transmission components. He helped us acquire top performance based on our needs and goals. I never felt that he was in a hurry to get off the phone or that I was a bother in any way. This type of customer service was and still is rare. TCI has served my race team well! We communicated via telephone for a length of time and TCI (with Scott’s persuasion) was generous enough to come on-board as a sponsor for Viglione Motorsports – A most welcomed asset for any car owner! I am happy to report at this time, we have secured the championship in our division for the past 6 years!!

After breaking track records in 2008; we set the standard in our division and became the car to beat! We were told by the track owner we could always expect a rear field starting position to ensure we “put on a good show!”



Winners draw attention and curiosity – Drivers and owners from several divisions would stop to talk to us in the pits with questions about the car; especially about the transmission we were running. We were more than happy to hand out the TCI catalogs we always had on hand to anyone who had questions about the transmissions. We believe the quality and performance of TCI’s transmission contribute greatly to our success. Each year brings advanced technology, which TCI is happy to pass on to its customers. For each feature win photo and championship photo on the front straight-away we hang the TCI banner with pride and gratitude!!!
