Default Just need some confirmation, max shot on stock fuel pump
I was looking at the jetting on the EFI Wet System charts and on one it says that on a V8 with a 150 shot, that's the point you need to upgrade the fuel pump. However, when I click on a jet size, another chart comes up that says at a 100 shot the pump needs to be upgraded. I have a 2001 Mustang GT and I'm running the 100 shot jets now with a stock pump with no issues. So with those charts contradicting each other, I'm confused. What's the biggest shot I can run on the stock pump? I just really want to bump it up to 125 to get and get an extra 100 hp to the wheels.

The answer is that it actually depends on your paticular stock fuel system. The general standard answer is that 150hp shot is the max for most stock setups. That is the limit for your mustang as well. You should not have any problems stepping up to the 125hp jets with your fuel system. Can you provide a link to the jet charts you were looking at so I can corrrect them if need be?
