Well, as luck would have it, I set out on my 3-week vacation with the new EZ-EFI in place and hoping for some positive results. Unfortunately, I started having some ignition malfunction, either the MSD or HEI coil soak so I had to stop and swap out my dizzy and put back on the Q'jet and fuel pump in a Wendy's parking lot at 2AM in the southern California desert...that is a helluva way to start a vacation

That being said, after the first backfire when I initially had trouble, I got one big vacuum leak because one of the baseplate vacuum nipples blew off. Of course it was one that I had plugged and I did not use epoxy to retain it like I had to do for the other that I used for the PCV line. No press fit whatsoever. (You might need to fatten the tubing up or ream the hole smaller on your next iterration

)I had to plug it with a piece of tape. Anyway, I need to get a replacement swaged nipple. Also, I was noticing that the ported vacuum hole is nearly covered by the throttle plate and not above it which other users have encountered. I still had some ported vacuum but that is only because my plates are not open very far at idle but could potentially become a problem with a larger cam in the future.
I need to get this remedied. Has this been addressed with a later version TB?
Thanx,
Bud
