Missed shift, Zex wet sys., acts like thottle stuck.

Bolt ons.
Bullets.
Suspension.
Track only car.

VP ms109 fuel.

Zex LSX Wet Nitrous System: 125 jet.
Zex TPS WOT Controller, Window Switch: On-2800/Off-6300.
Zex Power Racer Spark Plugs.

Nitrous tune by Cunningham Motorsports.
Dyno w/125 shot, rwhp 477, rwtq 520.


Tested on short street runs, all was great.
First run at track with new set up/tune:

1) Missed a shift (3rd to 4th) resulting in very small backfire.

2) Got off the gas right after backfire.

3) While going though the traps the RPMs
shot way up as if the throttle was stuck,
did not hit rev limiter.

4) Shut it down and coasted back to pits.

5) No physical damage to intake/MAF found.

6) Started engine, idle/rpms shot up to apprx. 3200-4200
while sputtering and backfiring, shut it down.

7) No related DTCs found, but could not do a full drive cycle.

Any input would be great.

I would check around for a vacuum leak. Maybe the backfire popped off a rubber fitting or plug and or could have cracked the composit manifold somewhere. A vacuum leak would cause the motor to idle much higher that normal. If you have the bottle turned off and the thing still idles way high, it has so be something on the motor.
