Default Need Advice on Sparkplugs
I have a 1972 Chevy C10 with a 454 and a 250hp plate nitrous system. I am using Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads. I'm having trouble with my current spark plugs dry fouling. They only seem to last for about half a season of racing. The heat range is correct (about four numbers colder than stock). I'm using Accel 142 plugs right now. What plug would you recommend for my application?

What do you mean "dry fouling"? When you foul a plug, it means that it has been saturated by something (oil, fuel, etc...). Our plugs are only two steps colder than a stock plug, so they probably wouldn't help you here, unless this is a timing issue.

Will your plugs work with a 1995 Taurus SHO with a 3.2 V-6? I see some of the vehicles on your list can use the same plug as the SHO but the SHO isn't on your list.

Also what is the benefit of the Zex plugs over just a regular copper plug?

Yes, as far as I can tell, that engine uses a 14mm, 3/4" reach, 5/8" hex, gasket seat plug and that would be our 82003-6.

Would this also work in 1997 Dodge Dakota 5.2 or 5.9 V8? They use 14mm, 3/4" reach, 5/8" hex, gasket seat plug.

As long as those are correct measurements, then yes, they will work.
