Need some help (Photos enclosed)

Hey guys,

I need some help here, i need to find a replacement part for my wet kit NMU. I was hearing some hissing recently and went under the hood to figure it out. After checking all the fittings around the NMU and making sure they were secured correctly, i was still hearing the hissing. I opened the NMU and found that one of the fitting was stripped after removing it, i was concerned about this considering i have never opened the NMU and have never had any issues with it before and what also was concerning was that the fittings didnt seem to be in very far in the first place, only took about 2-3 turns before it came out. After i saw that one of them was stripped i removed the other one as well and found that it was also stripped and unusable, they were in very tight once removed would not go in at all anymore, the first few threads are damaged.

I didnt think much of it and i went in search of the new fittings and could not find them at any hardware store, home depot, lowes or any of the local places. I am in need of two of these fittings. I even bought a 1/8 nipple to make sure the threads in the NMU solenoids were not damaged either, they seem to be just fine, the 1/8 fitting goes in perfect. It seems that it is only these two other fittings. I got on the line with zex tech support and i was told that i could not get a replacement for these fittings and that i would have to buy a brand new NMU which retails for $253.00, needless to say i am not pleased, the replacement fittings should cost no more than 2-3 dollars. the dimensions for the fittings are 1/4 inch female to 1/8 inch male

I am just looking for some help here, if anyone knows where i can find these fitting that would be a great help to me, or if someone know the manufacturer of pieces like these i can contact them and order it from them. I just wanna get the nitrous back up and running. here are the photos

I am not sure who you spoke to on the tech line but apperetnly they did not understand what fittings you wanted. The part number to the fittings are NS6578. They are $3.10 a piece and can be ordered direct through us, off of our website, or through any of our retailers. There is no need to replace the entire NMU.

Thanks for your help Aaron, maybe he misunderstood me on the phone, but what he told me was that anything inside the NMU could not be replaced, maybe we both misunderstood each other, thankfully photos helped out, thanks again
