Default Neutral safety on 4L80 retrofit
So what have you guys done about back up lights and a neutral safety switch when you retrofit a 4L80e to, say, a second generation F-body? Mine had a mechanical linkage with the old TH400. Now what?

Most Aftermarket shifters and most older factory shifters had those switches attached to them instead of the trans itself.

But not mine. LOL. I always have to have the stuff that won't work. I found that Dakota Digital makes a kit. I've also been told that if I swap out the linkage shaft I can run the factory switch down there at the cable linkage but it will take some wiring.
