I have the universal wet kit. I am installing a new window switch, and just want to find out if the Nitrous Management Unit is going to work. The new window switch is a ground interrupt. Will that be okay?
similar question, if i use a relay on the positive power wire after programing the NMU for TPS voltage will the NMU be able to keep its memory after being disconnected for long periods of time?
Absolutely. If you think about it, it never has power until the switch is turned on, so (power side) being disconnected would ideally be the same as having the arming switch turned off. As long as the ground stays connected, it should retain the memory.

This will be ok. You will need to install the NMU and program it first before installing the Window Switch. If the Window Switch is installed first, the NMU will not program properly.

I just did this over the weekend. Now I can not get the solid red light to go into learn mode. I disconnected the ground and the car has been sitting un-touched for 24 hours. Have yet to try it again. However, I did wire it up without the window switch now, Should I try the proess again? This is on a 03 Mustang Cobra. Will I have to send in the box?
I would try it again and if the red light stays on after being disconnected that long, I would say there is a problem and you would need to send it in.

Did you provide some way to arm the controller after installing the window switch?
Remember the controller has to be armed to be programmed.
