Default Nitrous question
Ive got a 72 nova with a basic stock 350 that has a mild cam. The engine is set on 35 degrees of total timing. I have a nitrous kit on it with a 150 shot thats activated with a wide open throttle switch, Ive got a MSD Hyfire 6 digital box that when the nitrous is activated it retards the timing to the desired amount. How much timing should i take out for a 150 shot, right now i am taking out 5 degrees of timing.

I apoligize for the late response. I did not see this question. We generally recomend taking about 6 degrees out for a 150hp shot. I really don't see much of an issue with you taking out only 5 as 1 degree is typically not going to make much of a differance.
