PCV and IDF carbs

My engine builder connected a PCV to the manifold vacuum connection on my SBC IDF setup. I don't think WEBER IDF's are designed to have what is essentially a vacuum leak.Am I correct??

Tom, is this one of our Inglese setups with the optional vacuum lines?

Yes- It has the under manifold vacuum lines combined at the rear of the manifold to provide vacuum signal to brake boosters etc.

Ok after checking into this some you are right. You should not be running a PCV valve with this setup.

These carbs are commonly used in pairs, this makes the synchronization important,
be sure to bring the high flowing carb down to the low flow carb. Then bring them both up to “proper” Idle speed.
