Pinks All Out Event In Memphis, TN

When Pinks All Out creator/host Rich Christensen rolled into Memphis to film an episode of his hit SPEED channel show, Mother Nature answered the call to prove that she could also go “all out”. Weather conditions for the two day event ranged from downright hot & sunny to severe thunderstorms to cool & overcast… and much of that transition took place within a matter of hours on Saturday. Ahhh…you just have to love the spring time weather in the Southeast.

Through it all, 350 race teams from 23 states battled the elements and eventually each other in an attempt to grab $18,000 in cash & prizes and more importantly instant television stardom. If you’ve never attended a Pinks All Out event in person, we highly recommend you do so as they offer a unique combination of drag race, television spectacle and carnival atmosphere. In addition, I can’t think of another drag race event that offers such a wide range of race cars all competing in the same class; from the high-end NMCA cars to streetable sleeper cars.

Of course with this event taking place in Memphis it was only fitting that the COMP Performance Group™ brands (COMP Cams®, TCI®, RHS™, FAST™, ZEX™ and others) were well represented with a full staff of product technicians on-site to answer questions and assist racers. While we would love to tell you who took home the top prize, we’ve been sworn to secrecy so you’ll just have to wait for the show to air. The word at the track was that this particular episode of Pinks All Out will be broadcast during August, so mark your calendars to check it out and in the mean time follow along with our coverage.
